MOT fail due to CO emission

My car failed mot due to CO emissions that is .500% to 1.113% on various tests. One Garage said Catylitic Convertor and Lambda to be changed . Quoting me �300 + mot charges Already they changed my exhaust cost �140
I dont dont know what to do the car is left in garage Repairs cost more than the value of car that is a KIA car.
if any valuable advise please help me.. thank you
