I am fully comp. Sole driver myself. Can I get cover for my son in law to borrow my car Friday noon to Monday noon.? I am with Tesco and seek advice before I ring them.

Yes, provided your son in law has a full licence. It should cost just a few pounds.
Full CLEAN licence.

If he has previous convictions or loads of points this may be a problem.

REMEMBER : If you don't declare points or convictions then your insurance becomes invalid.

Check to see if the cover is fully comp or just 3rd party, if he smashes the car, then you might come unstuck.

True to what the other have said, also depends on age and possible min extra cover, I needs to do the same and had to take cover for a month as that is the shortest extra cover thay could, which pushes up the cost plus the admin costs.
Tescos only want low risk. Your policy will say 'has anyone who will drive this car had any claims/ensorsements in the last five years' which you will be obliged to declare and will increase the premium or invalidate the insurance if not declared. Even with a clean licence Tesco do not
like anyone under 25. Good luck.i
