user names

reading about Dove wishing to change a user name, made me think that some of the user names are, well, odd, to say the least.
It occured to me that it might be interesting to read how anyone came up with their user name.
Probably some of the answers could be quite amusing

I got it from the hand cream that was next to me when I was introduced to ab.

and have never used another .

I used to be a radio operator on the SSTitanic and so earned the nickname DOT as we were one of the first ships to use the morse code distress signal. and Hawkes because my father was a falconer for Queen Victoria and used to look after the harris hawks which were her favourite of alll the birds of prey

Mine's a mixture of the names of my 2 Jack Russell girlies, Pepper and Molly. Mr.P said it was an unfair division of the letters and that Molly would develop an inferiority complex !

when i was 16 i used to like to rollerBLADE and snow SKI so I combined the two words into BLADSKI..... i later in life learned (to my amusement) that it is a cuss word in the Russian language
