Rover 45 screen and headlamp washers

Hi my aunt has bought a 03 plated rover 45 which has headlamp washers, now the screen washers are very feeble and the headlamp ones do not work at all (yes I know the headlamps have to be on) I have taken the pipe off the rear of one of the H/L washers and there is no water coming out when the washer arm is used. I have checked the fuse (inside the car think it is No 20 pain to do but it is OK) pleanty of water in it any ideas?
The screen washer is very feeble and drizzles onto the screnn rather than shoots is this the same pump as the h/l washers and could this be the cause of one weak one not working at all.
Any help would be appriciated

If you have the pipe off the H/W blow into it, it might clear it.

Same with the W/S washers, use a pin to clear them.

Worth putting cledan water and screen wash in both.

Sorry should have said: -
Have blown back from the screen washers 'till it bubbled in the bottle can not get to the H/L pipe to blow it through, have already tried the needle and since they have bought it they have used about 3 washer bottles full.
