Am I showing my age or what?!! I can remember buying an appropriate length of copper-cored HT lead, the suppressors to go onto the spark plugs and also the connectors to go to the distibutor. These accessories simply screwed into the copper lead and saved having to buy the exact size SILICON (spit!) leads already made up!
Can the components and copper lead still be bought anywhere????

I remember, used to get the little washer aswell to splay the copper wire over to make a good connection.

The car I have now does not even have High Tension leads!
Sorry, forgot, it does have high tension leads from the HID starter to the Xenon headlight bulbs.
