When I got my first tomtom300(nearly 2yrs ago) I put my post code in and it didn`t recognise it so I sent an e-mail via the TT website just to let them know. Now i`ve just got a newer version and this one still doesn`t come up with my postal address. So does anybody know which is the correct channel (if any) I should go through to try and get this problem rectified. But before you ask, yes I do know where I live, its just courier services etc use these type of devices so know wonder i`m not getting items i`ve bought. Oh and also the house has been here for over 300 years so its not as if its just been built.

Cheers

Does your house come up on Royal Mail Postcodes ? If not then you need to make sure they have it correctly listed. I used to live in a very old house and had a problem ordering goods they used to say to me 'is it a new property' and I used to reply 'no it was built in 1528 !!!' So if Tom Tom are using them as the database and it is wrong there .... just a thought.

Thanks for the reply lady p and just checked on RM website and my address shows up on the postcodes. Any other ideas????
It has never worked properly and then you buy another one? I think they saw you coming - or perhaps they didn't!

I thought that TT might have upgraded the maps on the newer version Gromit. Like I said its lucky that I know my way home :) but my initial post was just to see if anybody knew a method of getting this rectified
Well I suppose if it were me I would find a number for Tom Tom and ask what database they are using and how it is compiled.
