Was watching a police fly on the wall type program.
They arrested this woman who did not have a driving licence and when she was prosecuted apart from paying a fine she was also giving 6 points on her licence.. But she hasnt got one so how does this work.. This question always baffels me as read about numerous times, when points are added to a licence but the driver does not have one.

They create a driver record for her and store the points, if/when she applies for a license they will be added to it. The system is set up to handle the situation, I mean you can be banned from driving before you have a license.

I believe there is some form of compensation bureau that you can apply to if you are hit by an un-insured driver.
That's another subject fender.

Thanks Loosehead
Does seem weird you can be banned before applying for a license how odd
Not really Lindy66. A person could be driving without a licence, and be caught for say drunk driving, and if they weren't "banned" they could sit their test the following week/month and start driving legally with a clean licence. The same applies to any driving offence.
Not true Bendy, if they are disqualified they cannot have a licence.
