silly question, but have you checked that there is any water in the resevoir??

If there is, it means that the pipes may be blocked

In addition to 'spaced' answer, lift the bonnet or look under car when someone operates the washer as a main feed pipe may be disconnected or cracked.

Also, stick a pin in the nozzle as these block up with polish etc. OR pull the main feed tube (under the bonnet) off the three way connector and operate the pump. If you feel air, you are short of water. If you don't feel anything but the pump is operating, you will have to remove it from the reservoir tank to check for blockage.

My wife told me that and said "of course I have checked the bottle ". Yes...she was looking at the Coolant Reservoir. (are you rushing outside ?)
