oil is leaking from what i assume is the pressure relief valve,(a unit at the side of the oil dip tube with a cable attached).2001 corsa 1000 3 cylinder car.the electrical part pushes into a green, what appears to be a seal held in with a plastic clip could it be worn or is there something more serious

just replace the sensor think its a pressure sensor for the oil just unplug the connector and usuing a socket think its a 22mm take the old sensor off put new 1 and new washer if u get 1 (or the old 1) tighten up not too tight tho they r prone to snap if overtightened check the oil level and there u go u will only lose a trickle of oil wen u replace the sensor but check it anyway
