The reception on my radio seems to be poor....does anyone know why this is? I have also noted that the car doesnt seem to have an aerial, could this be the main problem

Stick a metal coat hanger in it.If reception improves, it's an aerial problem.

The Rover 75, having shared the same parts bin as the BMW E46 3 Series, uses the rear window heater elements as an aerial and boosts the signal (like a great many other cars). It may be that the booster isn't working or that it has somehow become disconnected.

Lauralou - seeing as you advocate replacing a car aerial with a metal coat hanger then it must be you who is responsible for the one which was lying on the motorway a while ago. It stuck into a virtually new tyre, causing immediate deflation and destruction of it. Please get in touch with me urgently with your proposals for compensation. Thank you.
