60s tv advert

does anyone on the list remember a tv ad for tyres featuring a cartoon character called a GROUNDHOG, it had four tyres a large wide nose that hugged the ground, big dog like ears, headlamps for eyes and a tail made from 2 exhaust pipes, it used to scoot around the screen while the voice over talked about the road holding properties of the tyres, I have feeling it was either pirelli or michelin, but I could be wrong, im after a copy of the ad so if any on can help it be grateful

I remember that advert I also remember the kids in the playground at school immitating the noise of the groundhog

Yes but I thought it was Dunlop. Can't have been Michelin they've had the Michelin man for years.


Didn't know it was called Groundhog though
