i have a vauxhall astra and each time i turn the ignition on i can hear water trickling around the engine. I have checked oil and header tank and it would appear they are both ok (no loss of either).

I have also bled the system and there does not seem to be air in there.

Does anybody have any idea what this could be? Im getting baffled!

Any suggestions would be grately appreciated.

Thanks

will try there. thank you.

Are you sure that it is water, maybe its the fuel pump running or something which makes a noise you can hear?
Question Author
i think so, the noise seems to be coming from the heater area, though the heater matrix seems ok...
Does your car have air conditioning? If so, it's probably the refrigerant circulating after leaving the condensor.
Question Author
