morning, Monday and the working week starts for some of you. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have anything planned for today?

The decorator will be here at 8am to begin to paint the hallway, so that will be a nice start to the week, hopefully it shouldn't take him more than 4 days to complete the job.
Todays forecast for the capital is 24c with light rain.....

Four days to paint a hallway Em?

Hope you are good with a teapot.

There could be many a cup needing brewing.
Good morning Emmie, how are you doing!
My shower went on the blink last week, so I'm looking to get a new one fitted today or tomorrow.
Hope all go's well with the hall.
Take care

morning 1ozzy, Chip

that's what he reckons, i hope he takes 3 days but will have to see, coffee/tea ready to go.

hope you get that sorted Chip, i couldn't do without mine.
Missing a shower could be uncomfortable.
Missing a dunny, unacceptable!
Good morning. 1ozzy, I was also thinking that 4 days is a little long. Anyway, Emmie, I hope you are happy with the results. Also 24 forecast for later on with a thunder-storm maybe.

morning Sanmac,
Question Author
you been busy Mac, haven't seen you around lately.
i think he could do the hall in 3 days but will see.
No busier than usual, Emmie, just that some days I don't pop in here Did you get rid of the mice?
Question Author
not yet, the mice have caused me a lot of stress, knawing and scratching their way through the night. The baits are down, and poison in them, so no idea why the little bsards are still alive.
Question Author
how are you Mac?
I mentioned water traps some time ago.
They may have built an immunity to baits/poisons but they can't swim.
Question Author
i remember, but no idea how they work, or indeed where to get them...do you make your own 1ozzy....
Question Author
a friend has suggested a way to trap them, maybe will look again at Robert Dyas hardware store to see what they can suggest.
I have made many Em.

Google "water trap for mice"

You will find many you can purchase.

You will also find instructions on how to make your own.
Question Author
thanks....
And Peanut Butter is the best bait.
Forget cheese
Question Author
tried that it didn't work last time...
But you weren't using a water trap.

Any bait that can be easily nibbled from a spring loaded trap won't work.
Question Author
no i can see that.... what's down should have done the trick, but seems not, kept me half awake last night, the noise is awful. will look out for water traps....
Question Author
have to be showered and ready for 7am, so i can have breakfast before the decorator shows up.
