Just taxed car on line. The last part of the form said you have a months trial for 50p for up to five cars to check on MOT/tAX STATUS. tHEN £5.99 MONTHLY.

Could not see any box to continue with payment and not get charged for this.

Will check tomorrow.

It looks like it is that site in PAULN90's post. It's not a con, it's a service you pay for to remind you about MOTs and Tax for up to five cars.

It was a con. There did not appear to be an option to continue with payment without this extra charge. I have now cancelled it. Confirmation e-mail said sorry to see you go, how about just 50p per month.

Just a comment, I don't pay for reminders for sure but I definitely get them with the reference number to use online - so does everyone else don't they.
