I don't think my car has any plugs i have a diesel so i'll be getting fuel filter change
All our family take our cars to a local garage just before they need testing. He does a service and the MOT at the same time. Well, he takes it for the MOT as he doesn't do them! It usually costs us between £120-160 depending on what needs doing for the MOT. But we do keep our cars in good condition, tyres changed when needed etc.
Just paid £270 (£100 cheaper than main dealer). My service indicator now says it will be 2 years until my next service.

I thought every 10,000 miles or 12 months was suitable to service the car.

My car i'm not sure if it has a service light or not.
15 years ago I had a BM which only needed a service every 19/20k.

I have a skoda
Question Author
sorry that was quite embarrassing to type
I hope you stood up to make that confession... :-)
Spath - nothing wrong with Skodas since they ceased to be eastern european rubbish. I've never owned one but I've looked at them at "change car" times and only refused them because they didn't offer the options I wanted.

they are all, ugly.
Ugly is not a problem. Sitting inside the car you don't see it; it's all the other drivers on the road who see the ugliness. Appearance is the last thing on my mind when I buy a car.

Oh really? colour is first priority for me ;oP

I kid
It is for me...
I pay for my service on a monthly basis so I don't get any horrible bills at the same time as renewing my insurance, taxing my car and paying for an MOT.
(Sorry spath...) nice to see you, tilly... I was literally just now, thinking I hadn't seen you for a while and hoping you were ok x
Thank you, Pixie. x

I have been away on holiday.
Ah :-) hope you had a good time x
I'm lucky.I've got a Mobility car they just send me a reminder when it's due and then they do everything including a courtesy car if I need one.
Question Author
It's perfectly fine Pixie no need to apologise.

But regarding the car i was kidding, but colour is still important for me ;)

Paddywak that is quite efficient!
Thank you xx because of my job, I need reliability most and economy really. But I will only buy cars if i like the colour too :-)
