yesterday. It's the first one, as the car is now three years old.

The mileage is 9076. Do you think it will pass?

ok - so it's their own LW .
I was just thinking why she has to take it to EH .

Anyway I'm always sceptical of these type of warranties .
They often contain more exclusion clauses than what they actually cover

Bazile, it's the Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty and EH is an approved dealership.
Hi Tilly - I don't think that's strictly true, we changed from EH to Thurlow Nunn with no problem. As long as you change to another Main Dealerr you are still covered ( assuming you are talking about a Vauxhall ca) we git a very good deal from TN on servicing too paying a monthly sum. I'll get more details if you want.
Mrs Zacs Mini has just been for it's first MOT. 40,000 miles. Nothing wrong. She bought a new one whilst there tho!
Indeed you don't have to take it to EH - Any Vauxhall approved dealership will suffice .
Thus , if EH customer service is crap , then ditch them and go elsewhere
Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty....you need to VISIT a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer once a year to get a further year's extension to the warranty....BUT you do not have to have the car serviced at a Vauxhall Dealer and certainly don't have to keep going to Evans Halshaw.
They're telling porkies!
my reply may or may not have anything to do with MOT's.

Some years back was involved in a bit of a prang, insurance company said I had to take car to their approved garage.
Told them no, as that garage didn't have a good reputation and wanted to take it to my local garage.
Both garages are/were also approved Testing Centres.
They reluctantly agreed.

The one they wanted me to take it to went bust some years ago.

Ginge, it's this part that fooled me.

'Lifetime Warranty cover is dependent upon confirmation that the vehicle has been serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended servicing schedules using genuine Vauxhall parts or parts of equal quality, including oils, and that the annual reactivation checks have been carried out.'

I read that has having to go to a Vauxhall dealership garage, the only one of which in Bedford seems to be EH. I may be wrong here.
Tilly.....it is now illegal for motor manufacturers to insist that THEY alone need to service your car to preserve warranty rights. It's called "block exemption". This link explains it......scroll down to "servicing your car"

Thank you, Ginge. I'll have a look at that tomorrow.
I trust it's petrol not DERV with such a low mileage.
