Yes, I know its a dog ramp "A" frame actually but I want to know what the hinges are called located at the to of the A frame.

I can see the hinges! I admit not very clearly but I can see them, you can see them protrude at the top either side at the apex.

Yes SlackAlice, they would do I just need them a bit heavier duty.
It is to make the "A" frame in the pic and it needs to be sturdy to meet Kennel Club regs.

Panky I googled compass hinge but still no luck, I may have to use a different hinge if I cant find the ones I want. I am being a bit fussy I know, the buyer wont buy it if it isnt of a high standard.

If you wanted a ramp like the one in the picture ... you would fit the trestle hinges as shown and a piano hinge across the apex for strength. ( not shown ).

jomifl, The paste board hinges wouldnt be man enough for the job.

alavahalf, I dont thing the piano hinges are necessary, never seen them fitted to an A frame before, I think I just need good quality trestle hinges.
