How different would the UK be if we didnt have (or stop funding) our royal family?
Ive NEVER understood how giving millions of pounds a year to an already wealthy family is 'good' for Britain.
Ive just walked home through a dissused bus station where there are people sleeping in boxes and make shift tents.
The disparity is painful.
I assumed that there was some connection between your two statements.
If we abolish the monarchy and do nothing for the homeless, then what has been achieved, in real terms?
Forget my (or anybody elses) assumptions then Jack and tell me that we are justified by giving millions of pounds a year to an already rich family while people sleep in cardboard boxes.
