I have a 1994 bmw 325i with factory cd changer in trunk.  The dealer sent this item out to be fixed, for it kept saying "no disc" & the cartridge would not eject.  It was like it wasn't getting power.  I got it back, and it works great...except...every time I hit even the slightest imperfection in the road, it skips.  Is there something wrong inside the unit, or is there something else I can do to fix this.  I see it has some type of rubber bushing-style mount (?) that is still installed and is a factory set up.  Once again, is there any type of upgrade or suggestions to better understand this problem.

LOL, I have a very similar problem with my BMW, except mine has a Sony Changer in the boot. I put an all terrain board in the boot and it clipped the power connector for the 10 disc cartridge, I think around here is where your problem may lie. Take the unit off and have a look at the mini prrinted circuit board that interfaces with the power cable, this may be loose or broken.
