I have a Galaxy Note that I use as a Sat Nav but it drains the battery very quickly even when plugged in to the the USB port. The USB charger is working but it just cant keep up with the drain on the battery, is there a fault or is that just how they are?

Other wise I have no problems with the phone and the battery will usually last for nearly 2 days without charge.

I've got a Galaxy Ace 2 and I find the batteries drain quite quickly, especially if you've got 'bluetooth' switched on. My in car charger keeps charging ok, but it is slow.

Try switching bluetooth off and anything else you don't need running to see if that makes a difference.

My bluetooth is always off unless I need it, I dont have anything running that I dont need, its just with SatNav that the battery drains, other wise I have no problems.

Im wondering whether the cigar charger would charge more efficiently.
Cannot help you as regards Satnav, do not use that on my phone. Sorry ☺
get a cigar charger ,they are not expensive
