Had an MG 1100 (I was a flash git when I was young!). Others of that time may be completely extinct. Triumph Heralds aren't seen much, are they? Much earlier, my father had a 2 litre Vauxhall with 'streamlined', beetle back, bodywork. I think it was 6 cylinder. That was in the early 1950s. No idea what the model was called, but I'd love to find one.

LOL, I'm afraid that doesn't count Daisy, A monza exhaust would only slow one of those things down, extra weight !.

LOL @ Fred, yes I can just about remember those old Vanguards with there slopeing backs.
Another of my favourites from way back is the Jensen Interceptor.
Really, AP? Why? It had an old American engine. Was it the look?

Yes AP a lovely car, always fancied one of those myself, mainly because of it's 440 cubic inch Chrysler V8 engine.

Down side to them was they were built in West Brom !.
It was Italian designed, British made and had a Chrysler V8 engine but what the hey.
Yes, the look and that glorious sound.
Got a couple of great photos of one I saw at Brooklands a couple of weeks ago.

I will most likely be seeing some proper cars in a couple of weeks, going down to Santa Pod at Whitsun ( weather permitting ).
I overtook a Ford Zodiac on the M3 the other day, left hand drive unusually.
