I think I HPI checked only twice from 28 cars - of which last 1 was brand new,
I like to think I can spot previously repaired cars, but as for finance I winged it, they were mainly old dogs that I would repair to a suitable standard.
having knowingly owned at least 3 cat D's - but getting shot of them is another thing.

Oh...I did carry on working on my over sized salary because he couldn't sack me :-) I adore my accountant whose advice I was following....lol
