I watched a bundle of assorted birds in the trees in my back garden this morning. Nibblinig away at new shoots. Lovely to see and hear.

At the moment it's lovely and quite but it will all change shortly, I'm off to the tip to dump this mornings collection of gardening waste while Trish is lighting the BBQ, an infallable way of starting every lawn mower, power tool and radio on the estate.
