a really small chip on my windscreen. Is there a product out there that can fill this in, as its not big enough to warrant replacing the whole windscreen? Its a skoda fabia if that makes a difference.

How large is the chip?  It is obstructing your view or catching light glare at night?

For MOT purposes a chip larger than 10mm in the drivers windscreen wiper swept area will fail the test.  Outside this area I think it the crack has to be larger than 40mm.

Its not in my field of vision....its almost at the top of the glass, and it is about 2 or 3 mm is diameter. But it is there, and thats the annoying thing.

got this fixed by Autoglass for about 30. Much cheaper than a new windscreen/excess and passed the mot. Was in my field of vision, no bigger than a 5p. They done a good job.

Check your insurance - many will cover chip repairs for free - it saves them having to pay out for a full windscreen replacement
I agree with sequin - my insurance company will do this for free too.

Why not get it done professionally and free? Whatever it says on the tin, I don't think diy products are up to the job if you don't have the skills. I'd go with a previous answer, www.auto-glazing.co.uk, they did mine and with no fuss or trouble.
