Yellow Ford Ka

I have a friend who owns a yellow Ka 2005 model. He is adamant they only brought this colour out in 05. I have seen 2 on a W plate. This could possibily be the same car as I saw it in different weeks and 15 miles apart.. I even took a snap of one last Saturday. He says it has been resprayed. Surely if a car has been resprayed the inside would not be yellow too. Please can some one help end this dispute and tell me when Ford brought out the Yellow Ka. Thanks.

Just to add some clarity. Ford produced a 'Millenium' LTD Edition in 2000 in yellow. That explains why you have seen them on a W plate. The colour was then reintroduced to the range in 2005.
