Soaps category

Could we have a separate category within Media and TV for Soaps? This would then allow those of us who admit to watching all or any of them to ask questions without being told 'it isn't real' or 'get a life'. Reality TV has its own, and I therefore don't have to be bothered with questions on that, and I am sure others would appreciate not having the soap questions.

I agree with you, it would be good if we had soaps as a separate cat. We all know it's not real but getting yourself into soap land can get you away from lifes ups and downs for a while.
Besides people read fictional books then talk about them at a book club, why can't we do the same with soaps.

Good point, I have often thought soaps are just a modern day version of Dickens or the Brontes, pure escapism based on real life situations.
