how old is the actress that played ruby in eastenders and is now in the bill? is she old enough to be a police officer?

in real life shes just turned 18 - May i think. she could only just be in the police - surely though there is a height restriction..... she admitted in an interview the other week that if she had to go through thr fitness tests she wouldnt have gotten into the real life police force!

I also thought when I watched the Bill tonight that she would be much too short, unless they have changed the hieght requirements.

They changed the hight requirements many years ago, I can't remember exactly when it was but it was just before Policeing standards feel in this country :)

I think rhe major reason was so that more ethnic minorities could be included as the hight restrictions ommited a lot of people.
