I got through S1 now on S2, I have to say you were right it gets better, loved the voyage home nods, even the punk on the bus! ...and of course Q playing around, really enjoying it.

It was 100% fan service, the cast of TNG reassembled ;-)

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds returns for season 2 next month. By far the best of the new ST.

Yes SNW is pretty good. I actually watched one of my favourite TOS episodes the other night "The Ultimate Computer" - still good, the whole lot are digitally remastered on Netflix.
