I don't know if this Turkish film is available on Netflix UK, but we have just watched it & it very, very good; laughter & tears in profusion; extraordinary acting from the child protagonist & really everyone else, music exquisite too. 10 out of 10

I tried to watch it last night but couldn't find it despite a search on Netflix, no idea why. My Netflix account expires at midnight tonight but I expect I'll have another month soon so will try again then.

Ha, stupid me. I realised it is tonight, not last night when my Netflix account ended. So I searched again this morning and watched the film and enjoyed it. Very sentimental.

ladybirder, Yes I know, it can in at least one part, teeter on the edge of
schmaltz, but I had by then suspended belief & enjoyed it overall so much it was no worse for that.
