Saturday. I'm on the canal today, in the visitor centre. I'm being taken to dinner afterwards, to one of my favourite pubs. Should be an excellent day. It means giving the farmers market a miss though, there's always next week.

Morning WBM. I wish I could say I'd shaken off this cold but it still lingers. As you get older I think they become more difficult to fight off.

Miles was attacked by another boy at Nursery yesterday. It happened in front of me. The other boy tried to scratch his eyeballs and was yanking his eyelashes. It was quite savage. Anyway he was hysterical, as you would expect, and he's got a couple of lacerations to his face.

Miles is such a sweet little thing, he wouldn't hurt a fly. :-(

I've been speaking to quite a few people, old and young, that can't shake off this cold.

How old is Miles now?

I have been awake since 3am... got "paintitis" lol ..my right arm is suffering from non stop paint rolling for several days, so going to have a break today whilst oh and his youngest..6 feet 25 year old set about bagging up the detritus outside.. just a bit of wood to do , will tackle that monday I think

Miles has just turned 11 months. The other boy is roughly the same age, possibly slightly older.

morning ummmm xx lot of it going about, typically I am laid low for 3 weeks when I am stricken..touch wood... had flu jab this year which seems to be helping a bit...

Jens had a cold for 2 weeks now and can't throw it of. Don't know if I had the same "brand" but mine was gone within 4 / 5 days

Hard to discipline little ones of that age. My son hit another child with a wooden block at nursery because she got to close to him! He's the most non violent person I know. He's 20 now.

Good to have a rest for a couple of days Minty, not pleasurable if your not into it, and results tend to show that fact.

Little ones have to learn about interpersonal relationships, quite often they do it the hard way!

poor Jen has had a rough ride, hope she is better soon Tony..

the other was a wee baby too ? ahh... natural curiosity and play even if a bit rough, good to start learning about social interaction though

Yes WBM, she's in bed most of the day with hot water bottle, but it's a case of 6 and 2 3's. Although she's more comfortable, the longer she's in bed the longer it will take her to get mobile again. Anyway cross that bridge when she's over this cold.
