At the top of my agenda is sleep. Will quickly finish my pint and nip the dog out first though.
Distracting myself from no food or drink from 6pm earlier this evening until after a test at hospital tomorrow morning.

Going to catch up on The Following then read some of my book then an earlyish night for me.
Bath, bed, book.

Room tidying sounds like too much effort for an evening.

Enjoy your pint AC

Aww Eve, I hope your tests go well *hugs*

What books are you and Madmen reading?

I know I'm to excited to sleep so its something to do and one less thing to do tomorrow
less than a week now qom !.
Get your beauty sleep, qom not that you need it x

counting down the days Tony, counting down the days :)
Thank you :) It's a lactose intolerance test so get to spend 2 hours breathing into a machine while probably feeling urgh (lactose and me don't mix!). Can't even have my coffee or a cigarette tomorrow morning...I'm gonna be in a great mood :)

I'm reading Beautiful Redemption, the last one in the Caster Chronicles Trilogy, read them all back to back and really enjoying them. Went to see Beautiful Creatures at the cinema the other week after reading the book (first one), good but they had changed loads and the mind boggles why they cast Jeremy Irons and Emma Thompson, neither of whom seemed to manage anything close to a deep South US accent and they left out some of the good bits in the book probably due to the money they were paying them to make people cringe listening to their accents.
Or not trilogy even, there are four of them, think I need that early night!
Question Author
Aww bless you Sib, thank you, I'd love to sleep but takes me ages to drop off at the moment x
I know you are qom.
Corrie, Scott and Bailey and any other junk tv I can find + searching the net for child-friendly crafts to do (mine have got nearly two more weeks off school and two of them had the last week of term off with chicken pox). We have already done all the usual stuff (beads, painting, cooking and even Harajuku (teeny, tiny painted Japanese dolls with secret messages inside)), too cold and windy to actually leave the house so have to find something that will keep them all occupied.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow Eve, let us know how it all goes.

I've just got back into my book, couldn't put it down prior to being ill.
Dinner, large glass of red and masterchef a bit later. Happy days :c)
Currently reading David Icke 'Remember Who You Are'...
OOh, glass of red would be quite nice :)

On that note, I'm off. Have a nice evening, and don't spend too much time tidying up :-)
I'm sewing, making roses out of cream and peach satin ribbon to decorate some 'dolly bags' I've made for a friends wedding she's got three little teeny tiny flower girls all aged 3 in the palest peach tutu's with little peachy ballet pumps they are so sweet! They will be wearing a tiny tiara with flowers going around I can't wait to see them. Got Pam Ferris on the headphones reading the Darling Buds of May by HE Bates, and a nice mug of coffee.

What about a picnic on the carpet Sher? Mum used to do that with me when I was small and the weather was horrid outside. What about Binka if you can get some and some wool? Maybe a talent show that the kids can put together for you and mr Sher? Just a thought.

Enjoy your evening Madmen - I shall try not to spend too much time cleaning :)

Sounds lovely and relaxing Spikey

ooohh China...
Damn, I was going to invite you out for a drink and a snozz.. given that Excel seems to be working and the beau is off in one of her Maj's HMS's...........
I've been quite busy today and I've got a beef stew cooking in the slow cooker. I ate some leftovers from yesterday and I'm just waiting for Scott & Bailey to start.
