Just watched that lovely old film Genevive but can't get over how Kenneth More runs around especially after his flying accident in Reach for the Sky.

He must have had a good script writer.
Genevieve was made before Reach for the sky, so he had legs then...
^^ Ah, that explains it. :o)
And he coped with being shipwrecked in The Admirable Chrichton. That can't have been easy with no legs
Perhaps it was Admiral Crutches..
In the film business, makeup and props can do wonderful things.
However, he did do well running around with that harmonica stuck up his @rse
what harmonica, now i know my films, but can't recall anything about a harmonica.. or is this a trick question.
Didn't he go to the moon as well ? ..only it turned out to be oz...
/but can't recall anything about a harmonica.. or is this a trick question./

you may be right em, but my recollection of Genevieve is that everytime he moves around there is an annoying mouth organ noise
I bet he hit a few bum notes!
Question Author
Amazed at the response on a dull Wednesday afternoon.
Yes Larry Adler played the harmonica in the film. Very famous harmonica player in his day.

So was he inside Kenneth More's bottom then? Very bizarre these theatrical types
Makeup and props again, Kiki-frog!
any more Mrs Moore....
From wikipedia

La Riadleur
a traditional French musician and entertainer, usually of diminutive size, enabling them to climb inside another person's rectum from where they can play a musical instrument creating an unusual and amusing illusion.
bizarre
^^ LOL. I must be tired cos I actually believed that for a minute
em10. Not only was there quite a lot of harmonica in the film, all the music was composed and played by the great Larry Adler.

So it is unlikely the aforesaid mouth organ was near anybody's bum !
