Hello again. I have been inhaling steam and taking the stuff the pharmacist gave me. Thanks for the tip about Covonia, Shaney. I'll bear it in mind. Went to see my elderly neighbour but couldn't stop spluttering and choking when I spoke to him. I feel worn out, just like you say Robi. But I have managed to stay on my feet all day and cook dinner tonight.

Glad you are getting all your washing sorted out Neti. I am still struggling with holiday washing - knickers galore!!!!

I need another holiday to convalesce (sp. that looks very odd!!!)

All our garden rubbish gets dealt with by Mr LL who spends many a happy hour composting, shredding, grinding, reinforcing banks with twigs, etc. etc. etc. It all goes back on the land in one way or another and he feels very proud of himself. I just put my garden rubbish in a big pile and let him deal with it. He virtually lives outside since he retired and occasionally comes in for a meal or to show me how his beans, etc. are progressing - how boring!!

Off to bed shortly, oight, oight, hack, cough, splutter xx
ah, been watching Michael Wood plough his way through the 15th century; he ended up going down into a drain in Lavenham to show how they were so rich they built proper sewers... I could hardly watch, there was barely room for him to move and it made me feel sooo claustrophobic. As for the poor cameraman, it must have been even worse lugging equipment... finally he popped up through the floor in the middle of someone's living room and I was able to open my eyes again.

Ooh ..great Jno ..I missed that this evening because of .....ball games .
I hope it's on catch up .His last series was very good and I've watched the first two in this one but got lost on them because of ....ball games .Thanks for reminding me .I'll make a note .
Lavenham is lovely .It's not far from where brother number three lives at Long Melford .There's a lovely church there .St Peter and Paul I think it's called.
Hope you feel better soon Lofty ...it's a b ...whatever it is .I coughed so much at times I thought I was going to be sick ..yuk .And all that horrid bunged upness .Bleugh ....even my teeth (wot are left..lol ) ached and it was all crackling in my ears and running out of my eyes.
Oight Oight folks .Sleep toight.
Good morning all. Hope the sickies have a better day today. Its bright and breezy here, dogs have run themselves to oblivion and I am going back to bed, laters folks
Good morning all. Up early because of the lurgy!!

Shaney, you describe it well. That is exactly how I am!!! My teeth also hurt and my eyes are sore and streaming. However, it has eased a little this morning, so perhaps I am on the up.

Had cramp in both ankles on and off all last night so I am dead tired and might follow in Woofy's morning schedule, and go back to bed shortly!!

See you later.
up early because I mysteriously woke up after four hours and couldn't get back to sleep. I too will probably try again later. I hope everyone else has a full and satisfying weekend.

grrr
I might just wait until Mr LL wakes up and gets up before retiring again!! He is daring to breath and that will keep me awake!!!
Morning all, I was awake for a lot of the night, its cos I have to feed the cat out of the window, cos since mr N put flea powder down (it's clean now!) the cat won't come in. So I have to tke a bowl of croquettas to bed and everytime she yeowls I have to open the window and wait and then bring the remaining food in, otherwise the wild cts will get it and they have fleas, so are discouraging them! It's like have a baby on demand feeding!

Just been outfor brekkie with Mr N and hija, bit warm, and am now waiting for the supermarket to open at 9.30 so we can do the shopping!!

Washing machine is a dream!!!
Get well soon lottie and all ailing others!
Good morning Everybiddy. I'm sorry you are still not better Lottie. I hope it clears up soon and the same for everyone with health probs. I gave Maggie your message and she says thank you very much. she goes home all being well on Monday and is having a visit from the health carers 3 times a day for a short while until she is confident to carry on herself.
My tickly cough has almost gone now thank goodness. I looked like I'd been crying everytime I coughed my eyes ran so much.
Great England match last night so in the Close where I live most of us are cheering today with our flags out the windows Daft or what :) :) But I don't care I love it!!
I'm off out now to see Sister fuschia then to Pride Park to meet my young friend who I haven't seen for ages. She is into a new romance so I will be hearing all about that. Then it will be home and more footie.....

Have a good weekend everyone, enjoy your New Washer Neti. I still haven't got a New Microwave yet - waiting for Steady as usual.

See yer later 'gater(s)
Morning...please note the lack of a 'good'.
Oh dear, so it's not so much all hail the biddies more all the biddies ail. Drains and sewers?! The bottom fell out of my world (or something similar) and most of me went down mine last night..sorry if you're eating your breakfast! Hell fire, I don't normally resort to imodium too quickly but I couldn't stand it, I've always thought it kept any bugs in for longer but according to the imodium website that's not true. Anyway I don't know if it's a 'rushin' flu or just me...I suspect both after the way I've felt for quite some time.

My weekend won't be full or satisifying jno, I'm paranoidedly (is that a word?) staggering round with dettox and parazone in case there's a microscopic bug waiting to invade my pipes, grrrr

Hope the rest of you feel better pdq, what a lot we are...yes Lottie, a convalescence would be be wonderful, o be honest I don't think I ever got over childbirth.

Kipling bags on qvc today woofy.
Hello all, Sis and I had a look at the offer bag on qvc...quite like the style but not the colours. dogs are dozing again even though we didn't get up till 10.30 and I am still in my jammies. I am trying to get a glass of Berocca down to maybe give me a bit more get up and go. I wouldn't exactly call it unpleasant but I wouldn't say oh lovely its time for my Berocca. I wish they made a sugar sweetened version, I don't like sweeteners. If anyone else is interested, they are on 3 for 2 at tesco.
You poor old biddies - I am having a perfectly lovely time, coffee, nice shopping, linch , sunbathe, and now a siesta before venturing out at night to meet friends for dinner!!
Have given up and am now in cool bedroom!!
Neti, how was your 'linch'!!!

I am so depressed. I feel like I have been bulldozed flat and I still feel like 'sh1t'.

I'm getting excrutiating cramps in my feet ankles and calves, probably a mix of arthritis and dehydration because I am leaking from everywhere.

On this very happy note I will log off.

Sorry!!!

Hello all
Lovely bright and sunny day here .Hope you are all Ok although you don't sound much better Lofty and hope you feel better after your night Robinia .
It's a horrible bug of some sort .I'm still coughing little or much .Honey and lemon helps ,you could try that .It's the mucus that's annoying .It sits there and won't shift.
Watched Trooping the Colour .It was very nice .I see Prince Philip is back on duty . Otherwise nothing exciting at Shaneytowers .See you later .
Just been pottering in the garden. The dogs like to help, especially Shughy. I thought it was lovely to see Phillip on the balcony, grinning away, he looked a bit wobbly on the dais, i know that bearskins are heavy.
I'm up again, and now running a temperature!! Damn - I have a Rheumatology appointment on Monday and I think a trip to the doctors would be more beneficial so probably will have to cancel the hospital.

Hope your tum has settled Robi. What a pair we are.

And don't you dare say that you are having a lovely time in Ibiza, Neti in the lovely sunshine. It has blown a gale here all day and I am cold, although Mr LL assures me it is warm. I have two ice blocks where my feet should be.

Had a large packet of salty crisps for lunch and two big glasses of water to combat cramp.

We were very lucky to see the Russian version of Trooping the Colour (well it was similar) in the Kremlin. It was being televised and I was standing at the front taking photos!!!

Photobucket and Tinypic appear to have merged and my photos have all disappeared from Photobucket!!
