He's a lost soul, I don't think there's a way back for him now.
Got a link?
I am very sorry for him, but I fear he won't get better.
Don't think he can survive many more of these slipbacks.
Hope the guy makes a recovery, but I fear he will go the way of of Alex Higgins and several other talented sportsmen.

It`s a shame that the staff couldn`t wait to tell the press all about his situation. The info is obviously coming from the inside. Discretion about their guests doesn`t seem to be their strong point.
might not of been staff, could be a guest.
He's a truly troubled soul. I've watched people die from alcohol abuse and it's not pleasant to see let alone go through.
He did Bathsheba, but it wasn't helped by his lifestyle.I used to follow snooker quite alot at one time and was in his company on a few occassions and he was to put it politely hard drinker.
Sadly he'll go the same way as George Best.
Why not send him to The Priory for specialised care & possible cure.
But do you think it will work tambo ?
If you or I fell on a glass and cut our hand we would have an unfortunate accident and go and get stitched at the A&E. The DM seem to have him collapsing in a pool of blood and being given weak alcohol to 'save him' . He cut his hand and now he's back at rehab where they will try weaning him of the booze slowly. It did not work with George Best and maybe won't work with Gascoigne. I agree only sectioning him would help in the immediate future, but there is no guarantee he would not relapse when he got out.
He was in The Priory in 2008 and again in 2012
Probably won't work then ..
so sad - it must be terrible thing being addicted to Alcohol / drugs
