Is it just me or do you often hear similar questions on quiz shows on the same day/ within a few days.

I've heard questions on shows such as perfection and the chase, which are on different channels I think, and possibly other shows aswell. I can't remember an example, but i'm sure they happen more often than can be a coincidence, and it isn't obvious, quiz questions such as who was the first man on the moon, then what year did Neil Armstrong go to the moon, they're more obscure than that . . . .

You'll probably say that it's just me being funny ut mum and me think it happens more than what can be coincidences.

I believe that there are agencies that supply some programmes with questions so it is probable that repetition will eventually occur.

On the same day?
Yeh, Molly, I've noticed the same thing. When the question comes up the second time I'm all smug cos I know the answer.

Francis, but they're neevr exactly the same, but like my example where they give you information A nd B and ask for C, then the second time round, they give you B and C but ask for A (sorry in an algebra mood, from my homework).
Sometimes its exactly the same. I don't watch the two programmes you mentioned so I can't comment on them.
On all the quiz progs they will have 'standards'. Questions which are stock in trade for quiz goers, chasers, egg heads et al. Such questions are:-
1. Who was PM at the outbreak of WW2?
2. What car started life as a Swallow?

The list goes on and will always feature in tv quiz progs.
Synchronicity happens in a lot of aspects of life, the common denominator is you being 'b' to the equation of 'a' and 'c' (watching quiz shows)...

sombody landed on the moon? when was this?

To be honest it could jsut be a coincidence, if you watch a lot of quiz shows, think of all the questions you would hear and if you remember hearing a similar question it sticks out in your mind.
Some of the quiz programmes on sky could have been recorder years ago and the questions just rephrased. .
Question Author
We don't get sky, well we get freeview but don't normally watch channels beyond the bbc, itv and 4s . . .
