I think he was saying "Who is Jude Law? He's been in every film I've seen in the last four years.." That sort of thing.
Hi Nemi, he said that Jude Law has been "in every movie i've seen in the last four years" to which Sean penn replied "forgive my lack of humour... Jude Law is one of our most talented actors"

is there anyone out there who can't stand Jude Law?  I haven't seen any film to suggest that he is more than a standard actor, nothing particularly special.  He seems to get more attention for being a pretty boy than his films.

I thought he was good in Cold Mountain, Enemy at the Gates, Gattaca and Wilde.  I personally think he's a pretty good actor, there's far worse than him that get awards.
Whenever I see Jude Law he always, but always me think of a wax dummy. It is most unsettling.
LOL Artful, you're right!  I think that's why he was so perfect for the role in the awful AI.  He's got a terrible look of Max Headroom about him, and his pretty boy looks just leave me cold.  I don't get it.

Chris Rock said that even if Jude Law wasn't in a film.  you would always find his name somewhere on the credits. He said that he thought that Jude had been in every film that had been made in the last couple of years. I guess he doesn't like him.
he was just kidding guys

I'm sure it was an affectionate jibe.  People like Chris Rock know the score - you can't afford to turn down work if you're an actor.  On the other hand, though Penn might have been a bit pofaced, he's probably reacting to the fact that comics such as Rock get on the fast track into Hollywood when they can't always act.

Recently five of Law's films were released in in as many months in Britain and probably in the US too. That sort of thing does tend to undermine an actor's star quality. I'm sure all four of them bombed.

Jude Law's a good actor all right;  I saw him (naked) on stage at the Royal National Theatre several years ago and he was excellent.  Don't underestimate him;  his time is only just starting.
