Choice of radio/cd

Putting the price to one side,can anyone help me decide which radio/cd to buy, between Bose Wave or Roberts MP53 Dab.
I don't want anything complicated to use, but I do want want a good sound with both the radio and cd's

If you want the best sound, then why go for digital radio? It mostly isn't. Quality sound demands a high digital bit-rate, and hardly any UK stations provide this. Also, there's presently a question over DAB, since the technology has been been superceded by the DAB+ system. People are actually being advised to look for 'future-proofed' DAB receivers that will accept both DAB and DAB+. It's a shambles. Google for articles on hifi versus DAB, and you might decide, like me, not to bother with DAB until it's all been sorted out.

I have 3 Bose radios/CD players and 1 Bose DAB/CD player radio. Think that answers your question :-)

Just remember the Bose is <i> very <i> basey.
