Which cartoons did you used to watch when you were a child and do you still sneakily watch them now, if on the tv?

My cubs are watching Top Cat now on Cartoon Network Too.........i used to love Top Cat when i was a nipper....and Dastardly and Muttley, Scooby Doo etc ....do you still love cartoons and if so, which ones?

I used to like Looney Tunes, Road Runner was my favourite - but I do have a soft spot for Dastardley & Muttley, he he he!

Best cartoon of all time was ulysses 31 imo.
Best cartoons now, Simpsons, Futurama and Family guy, I also watch American dad and King of the hill.

When I was a small child we didn't have TV so the only cartoons we saw were at the Saturday afternoon pictures.

Excellent choice, boxtops........thing is, it's quite surreal that my children are watching and enjoying cartoons i enjoyed and loved over 35 years ago.

It brings a warm feeling to your heart....and we get to see them all again....Wacky Races, Scooby Doo, Dastardly and Muttley etc are STILL shown on cable tv in this day. Great stuff :0)

i liked Bill and Ben the flowerpot men when i was about 4 or 5. As an adult I learnt the stories were written by Bill and Bens older sister to entertain them. They were from my home town and both became market traders selling fruit and veg. The stories were sold to the BBC and made in to the childrens programmes.
