Onn his World Tour of Scotland a few years back, there was a song played over the closing titles. I think Billy sang it himself, and ended with the line: ..and I am closer to you now'. Anyone any ideas?

vaguely remember it.have a feeling ralph mctell wrote it if thats any help.

The song is called "The Islands" written by Ralph McTell

I think it was called 'dreamtime' - I think it went -  "and I could not be further from you now with both feet on the ground...in the dream time... where souls take flight, and I am closer to you now"    I think it might have been his aussie tour though.
