The Bafta award for least funny man on the planet must surely go to Jonathan Woss. Does anyone agree that his so-called witticisms were totally cringeworthy? The audience looked pretty uncomfortable. Even if you ignore some of his past lamentable behaviour, how on earth can he command his ridiculous fees when he isn't remotely funny?! If he entered a village talent show, he'd be voted off.

You can always switch channels! like though
which award winner made the comment that he wouldn;t be there next year? I've forgotten now. Oh and someone should have told Vanessa Redgrave she should try to curtsey with dignity and grace not like she is going to collapse
I didn't see it - but I think he's a complete waste of space - and money - anyway.
He's the reason i turned over to watch Crossing Over with John Edward last night.
Coo, for one awful moment there, Dot, I thought you said you turned over to watch Jedward - although even they are preferable to him. :o)

Chris - I did switch over as I couldn't stand him any longer! I watched the ITV news which had the results anyway.
I totally agree with you, he was embarrassing. He thought he was funny but there were awkward silences and he didn't even seem to notice, in the past I thought he was OK but after last night I think he is well past his sell-by-date!!
You mean Jonathan Wossack ?
I saw him at the comedy awards on TV a couple of months ago, and it seemed there that he did not quite get the mood right with the audience. There seemed to be more groans than laughs.

It seems his past behaviour has turned the public against him a bit, so now the audience tends to sit there and say "cmon then, try to make me laugh".
Actually following on from my append above.

It is a bit like Michael Barrymore.

Many years ago his "over the top behavour" seemed amusing and he could do anything he liked and people would laugh.

Then after the death at his house he did not seem so funny any more and people felt it was somehow "wrong" to laugh at him.

I think the same had happened to Woss.

About time he was brought down a peg or two, too big for his own boots.
he has been funny in the past but last night's effort was very lame
