Did anyone else find Silent Witness (BBC1 9.00pm Thursday & Friday) rather disturbing?

Taking into account the subject matter (black gangs) it is surprising that it has not received more complaints and media attention.

In the name of PC, it is a little unusual to have a TV programme portray Blacks in such an unfavourable way.

It was a repeat from quite a while ago, so maybe anyone who wanted to complain did so then. I expect the Kennel Club will complain about Rottweilers being stereo-typed.(joke!)
I watched it the first time it aired and when i realised it was being shown again i turned over as i remember how it upset me the first time.
There are plenty of programmes that have shown blacks in an unfavourable way.
I watched a drama series last year that was very shocking, with a mainly black cast. Can't remember what is was called, but it was highly acclaimed. Set in London. It included a taxi call handler being strung up to a ceiling fan.
