I will if you want them ...... just say the word ! :-)
Many thanks teacher - I'll work on these - pleased to have clues as there's still time to get them.
So Teacher 1, Sprinter is still around. Your response made me chuckle out loud. Last I heard you had nearly finished. Are you there yet? I'm still stupidly stuck on 71 which I know is apparently an unusual word, 73 similar, 42 which must be staring me in the face but I can't yet get, despite the help with the RC in the middle and 65 which I know is 'as it says on the box' as someone else said. Have tried and tried to get an anagram but failed, so annoying when you get all the rest. Also am not sure about 27, the friend I discuss the quiz with over the phone, who doesn't own a computer, said she thought it was a well known disgraced MP turned best selling author but I did not think he was a ruffian. Any clues on any of these please, and do you need help yet with any I may have?
Hi mtsgirl ..... yes, I have finished and posted it off. Silly me forgot to keep a copy. So, if you need help You will have to post the clues and not just the numbers. lol
71 This is a funny word ..... 6 consecutive letters in the clue.
71 and 42 are both 'hidden' words
73 I don't have
27 4 letter word for make fun of round 'crossword speak' for house. Not Archer!
If I remember correctly 27 sounds almost like a red Indian haicut ! lol :-)
...... or even Red Indian haircut ! lol lol
that's teh one - but it's a French baddie I think!
65 just occurred to me as I was thinking of something else...couldn't have been much easier could it? Also got 71, never heard of it before. Now will work on 27..thanks for the clues both of you..also Man of conviction works hard for Catholics inside...6 letters and Early policemen who took the spoils...7 letters. Nearly there I hope! Thanks again
Thanks again, have got the 'not Archer' one. Great clues and only my last two to go now. Must get it done before the postal strike starts!
