fujitsu laptop using the numbers instead of the letters

i have a fujitsu laptop and where the keyboard has numbers and letters, it is usiing the number and i do now know how to get it bak to using the letters oly, anyone help please. it is not on capital i have checked

I think it's 'fn' or 'alt fn' or 'ctrl fn'

I can't check because I don't have the numbers on this lappy.

have you checked "number lock"
or press fn and whichever function key is appropriate? eg f12

grrrr if i hold down fn on its own i can use the lower case letter, tried cntrl fn and alt fn and fn f12 still not working on their own yet grrrrr

phew thank you all for your help it was fn and insert number, i sometime feel this laptop has a mind of its own, again many thanks
