What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen anyone doing, or the downright strangest thing you've ever heard anyone say?

There was this batty old lady who used to live in Hereford back in the 80's,a nd she used to go round bashing people on the head with her umbrella. One time, she clonked my granddad on the back of his bonce, and we didn't stop laughing for a week !

I had a party a my house a few years ago,one of the guests walked up behind my then 18 year old daughter and started picking at her head.After a few seconds we asked him what he was doing,he replied "I'm picking the daisies".It turned out he had taken some ecstasy and was tripping his t1ts off. pmsl

Some years ago i saw a guy walking round Manchester City centre with an enormous white rabbit (a real one) tucked under his arm.

Later that same day I saw him again, sat outside a pub with the rabbit placidly sat on the table with him. I was totally agog.

There used to be a man in Leicester (many years ago) who walked around with a pet sheep on a lead,it used to wear a little black bowtie (the sheep,not the man).
I also had a friend who owned a pet rat that she took everywhere with her,it was always perched on her shoulder when she came to the pub I worked in.

the weirdest thing I've seen anybody doing and the strangest thing heard happened at the same time. I was with friends in Stratford upon Avon and we met a man carrying a grandfather clock under his arm.One of my friends said" why don't you wear a watch like everybody else ?"

LOL Daffy. There was a woman down the road from me who used to walk her pet ferret up to Tescos every evening ! On a lead of course....

Vulcan - he must have been a strong chap to carry that under his arm.

Maybe he was protecting the rabbit from a bunny boiling female, by keeping it with him, Boo ! lol

The same party guest also poked me in the eye that night,he just suddenly leaned towards me,finger outstretched and poked me right in the eye,it really hurt :( He had no idea why he had done it.He also spent quite a few minutes moving an imaginary PC mouse around in mid air whilst sat on my sofa.
I daren't let him go home or anything just in case he did something even more stupid!

Heck no, thank goodness, NM. That does remind me of something that happened to my sis though. She was using an ultra-modern toilet, a big stainless steel pod-type thing in the middle of a pedestrian walk-through. Half way through her ahemdoobi doobies, the door unexpectedly opened to reveal her sitting with her knickers round her ankles, on show to all the folk walking past.

She quickly pulled up her knickers, grabbed her bag and ran out - but the door automatically closed before she got clear, and trapped her handbag inside. She had to wait for the council to come and free it. That's one tinkle she'll never forget!

I once saw a ghost...I was driving a lorry along a newly opened by-pass when i had to swerve to miss a man in a long old-fashioned rain coat riding an old type bicycle. I stopped to see if he was ok but was surprised to see nobody there..It very dark and the road was empty...It was very frightening because , by coincedence, in my local newspaper the very next week was an article asking "Has anybody else seen the ghost of an old man in a long coat riding a bicycle along the North Cove bypass". This happened about 30 years ago., and I still remember it..Weird.x

Some years ago when on the way home from Cornwall, a bloke in a wheelchair overtook us 'on' a very busy dual carriageway! Everyone slowed down to avoid hitting him!
