Don't feel guilty, even less so if you get M&S extra lean corned beef, just 8% fat, which is low for corned beef. A perfect vehicle for chilli sauce and salad cream, and must be served with baked beans and mash.

bacon fat, beef fat (especially forerib of beef), ham fat.... I blame my dad - there was only the two of us in our family home who would eat the fat off the roasts- lovely jubbly.

Its not the fat content but the thought of whats actually in there. Corned beef mash though yum. I also like a nobbly bobbly

... I also used to sneak into the pantry, and squeeze the raw sausagemeat out of a sausage & eat it.. I used to love it! It put me off though when my mum caught me & told me it would give me worms.... as far as I know, it never did.
