Anyone remember that programme where he'd wack someone over the head with his mallet!? What was the programme called?

I'm sure the programme was called Wacaday and the section in the programme he used the Mallet was called Mallets Mallet.

and the WAC of wacaday stood for the'Wide Awake Club' 'cos it was on at 8am or a similar time.

timmy mallet is coming to jumping jacks in middlesbrough sometime in november to do a special edition of the show. he also saved a woman's life in hartlepool a few years back by diving in the marina to save her!!!! legend in his own right!!

TM also gave Mike Myers his UK TV break in the Wide Awake Club (he appeared with Neil Mularkey in a sketch cunningly called the Sound Asleep Club).

Actually it was Tommy Boyd who gave him his break, that was way before Timmy got involved with the Wide Awake Club. Its my youth, trust me.

My youth too (OK, I was old enough to better!) & I'm sure I remember WAC being co-presented by Timmy Mallet, Tommy Boyd & Michaela Strachan (the real reason for watching WAC!)

I remember first year tech class at high school and copying this with my friends. Unfortunately we used real mallets and although I only tapped my friend on the head , she used to take a sadistic pleasure in hurting me ! Amazingly enough we are still best friends today ...... although this could account for my scatty nature and appalling memory. Sorry , what was I saying ?!!
