The biggie was Paul - he was going to do a runner and told Mollie. She told Jack and Tyrone and they caught him before he went.

Jack gave him 10000 when he realised he couldn't persuade him to stay - but told him there would be 30000 waiting for him when he came out of prison if he stayed and faced the music. Jack told him to meet him in the pub when he had decided what to do.

Paul did the runner - but left the 10k behind. Very emotional it was.
Sally and Claire nearly came to blows when Sally confronted her about calling her house a slum. The sale was on/off again.

Now Claire has said she's going to sell through an estate agent -and if they want to buy the house, speak to the agent.

The comedy part was the blow up photo of Liz and Vern's wedding - you'll see it for yourself.

Thanks Fay, I'm interested in what happens to Paul and whether he has been written out, but the Claire and Sally story is going to be one that drags on and isn't at all interesting. Is Claire pregnant in real life, I thought she looked a bit preggars when I watched it last week?
Yes she is - she is leaving for a while very soon - the baby is due in July, but is due to come back before the end of the year.
I noticed that too, its very obvious now.
By the way, Paul Clayton has now left the Street and won't be returning.

Thank Gawd for that Ethel, I hated that smug little smirk thing he always had going on.
Do you get a double episode on a Monday night in England cos we dont get it on a Sunday here in Scotland.
hi, is it me, or can that paul move his eyes really fast from side to side... its like they wont stay still...might be a condition but wondered if anyone has noticed it?

O i'll find out through the Sky listings for tomorrow -cheers anyway -off to kip !
O ta bez -hope i didnt miss an episode tonight -have to scramble through ITV2 now to check -would have been a good one as well -damn !!
-- answer removed --
Bez - they broadcast it on the May bank holiday Sunday too.

Obviously bank holidays aren't as special as normal Sundays.
paulsmummy - you're right. I've commented on that about his eyes. There is an optical condition where the eyes move like that, I'm surprised it's not been remarked on, or maybe he knows and they are not concerned. I'm glad he's leaving, I never rated him as an actor.
It's been suggested he has nystagmus - he may do, but I suspect it is 'overacting'
please Try and look out for Liz and Vernon's wedding Photo. It is hanging in the back room It was the funniest thing I have seen in ages. It has often been said that the eyes in a picture can follow you around the room but in this one it was the teeth.:-D
