I would like to play this game with Groups of pensioners
I have decided to create the boxes with shoe boxes and place prizes in them each one representing the monetry value or points value as the game show would have - Does anyone know the exact rules - I have only seem snips of the programme ( No time No time) and any ideas please on how to adapt it for the audience I have and to make it exiting for them, ( props etc. ) I have a set of intercom telephones so these will work perfectly for the banker but what should he offer to make the game exciting ( lets face it there will only be tat to win at the end ) but its the game that counts - I want to create a kind of Deal or no deal evening that every one will want to go to - just like bingo this works well as entertainment regardless of the level of prize - any help greatfully recieved

I'm sure someone will give you an excellent answer on how to do this, but just thought I'd mention that there is a deal or no deal game you can get, not sure how much it is.
Sounds good, I suppose you could ask for donations from friends and family and place a value on them say from 1p -25, say a penny chew and then a pack of tights from Asda for 1 going up to some chocs from Thorntons for 10 is that the sort of thing your thinking of or they could pick from a range of gifts in the price bracket they win hope its some help just thinking of the top of my head
Its a very dull game
- outside the studio
- without the special effects and whooshing sounds
- without the high stakes
- without Noel Edmunds
- without the pressure
e.g.
The bottle of vimto is still on the board,so is the tin of beans the bankers offer is a packet of werthers orginals.

'A packet of what dear?'

Werthers Originals

'Alf, Alf do you want werthers origamis, he likes his sweets, ALF?'

Do you want me to ask you the question?

'What questions that dear is it about the war? '
No do you want the sweets

'oooh yes dear Alf likes sweets'

Marjorie you have to say deal or NO DEAL.

'I'm not doing any deals with you! ALF theres someone here trying to sell me stuff! ALF!'

And so it goes on...ho hum...

Good luck, i'd stick to a quiz or bingo.
You could make a cardboard cut out of Noel Edmonds (but come to think of it, you wouldn't be able to tell it from the wooden one they use on the show).
