muslim question

i've read quite afew postings this morning concerning muslims,the copper ,the veil,one issue raises its head every time and usually not from the white point of view is that when some one critisizes a muslim all hell breaks loose acusation of racism and biggotry are banded about willy nilly.love them or hate them they are here,some muslim/asians are great some are not.i have worked with quite a few and have got on with most of them,my wife works with mostly asian and she says they drive her nuts but,some of them are realy nice friendly easy to get on with,just like any one else realy,but they dont do them selfs any favours allways ranting about stuff,sometimes they are justified but most of the time not.those that just get on with it are the best.

A few years ago we had a problem with digs attacking people (Rotweillers etc). It was headlines every time it happened.

Even a minor dog attack got a slot on the news.

I think the same is true now for Muslims.

Any "news" item about a Muslim, even one that may have not got a mention a few years ago, get a slot on the news.

I have to say though, they do not do themselves any good, with the way they go up in arms the minute the slightest thing happens.

The critisize the police for their behaviour one minute, then call for the Pope to be killed then next minute because he said something about them.

I have to say overall I wish we had not allowed so many muslims into this country, I think we have years of trouble ahead of us.

However icky the subject may be, however unpalatable the truth is, it's an unfortunate fact that some cultures are more primitive than others. Some reach for the knife when conflict arises and some begin to verbally debate the issue. Britain, like the rest of Europe, managed to resort to the latter a while ago. If a particular culture kills people for rejecting certain beliefs, or kills people for being gay, or kills people for committing adultery or kills satirists - that culture is brutal and cruel and it will come to no surprise that critics will be threatened with it's routine savagery.

yes vehelpfulguy,nikkb,both so right its just a shame because the more they shout the more it turns people towards racism,they shout about intolerance towards muslims but what are they like towards indians,my other half works with both and she says you would'nt belive the level of hatred from both.i worked with an odlder muslim,no problem had a good laugh,then a yonger one came what an arogant prat he was.would they or are they as tolerant in thier own country?

The reactions over issues such as the Danish cartoons, the Pope's quotations, Jack Straw etc. do all seem to be well over the top; certainly, it won't do the Muslim community any good either nationally or globally. It seems strange how the Muslim Council of Britain, who are supposed to represent moderate Muslims, always seem completely inert either when terrorist atrocities take place or when any Muslims are seen to be reacting violently to any form of criticism. You have to wonder: what precisely it is that they do?

point is nh this reflects on all muslims,i suppose its like teddy boys of old or any group religon that has an element of radical fundamentalists,also they bang on about america and the west but what would have happened if hitler had not been stopped, he would have turned to the colour issue as well as the religious one black would not have been acceptable to the true arron race biggotry on another level.the (teddy boys looked differant and they all got tared with same brush)

its the younger generation of muslims you have to watch out for.Up in scotland right now theres a trial going on in edinburgh as we speak-4 muslim guys in their 20s who kidnapped and tortured a 15 year old white boy, stabbed and burned him and left him in a ditch.because he was WHITE and a white guy attacked one of them the week before.they just picked this boy off the street because he was white and they wanted revenge.if it was a white gang who did that to a muslim can you imagine ???it makes me sick to my stomach.i have seen this racial tension groing with this new generation, this government have a lot to answer for

sandy it'snot the goverment that make them do what they black or white,but the aisians tend to carry knifes more,i dont suppose its to pleasant up there with gangs roaming around,its not very comfertable down here when you go in to town,like you say its the younger ones thier attitude stinks but there not all the same one of the aisians i worked with a few years back was in his twentys he was an absolutley top lad good fun easy going and man did he laugh he left to become a garage mechanic,so may be its a sign of the times or are we just getting grumpy old men.

What gets me is they can spew hatred, kill nuns, burn churches yet one word of criticism and they go on a rampage. And what's with the crow outfit? The men walk around free and the women are covered so no one can see them. Who'd want them anyway?
