Mine would include Edge of Darkness (see another thread); The Goodies; Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy & Smiley's People; Captain Pugwash (the names of some of the characters would never get through though - Master Bates & Seaman Staines to name just 2) & anything with Sir David Attenborough.

Marmalade Atkins and Childrens Ward :-)

Oh I'd go a lot further back - Edgar Lustgarten presents , The Scales of Justice , Billy Bunter , Hancock's Half-hour , Play for Today , Armchair Theatre , Steptoe .

Loads more but the video/dvd revolution put paid to a lot of repeats.

Fox - great series.
Edge of Darkness was great, Clapton did the soundtrack if memory serves. I'd love to see 'Harry's Game' again but alas I doubt it will ever be shown.

I'm not sure about the 'Pugwash' people - I think that's just a myth perpetuated by Richard Digence.

Once and for all, the names of Captain Pugwash's crew were, Pirate Williams ( sometimes called Willie ), Pirate Barnabus, Master Mate and Tom the Cabin Boy.

Victor Lewis Smith published the other names in a newspaper article and was proptly sued by Pugwash creator John Ryan.

Thank you tonymclark! this gets on my nerves & has long ceased to be amusing ;o)

Sad as I am I would love to see the 1974 reality series 'The Family' repeated (again) so that I can record it..it was very entertaining!

The Staggering Stories of Ferdinand De Bargos, and Chelmsford 123.
The Flame Trees of Thika.

Lizzie Dripping should be repeated.

BTW Osprey...sad to report, but that thing about the names of some of the pirates in Captain Pugwash - it's all urban legend I'm afraid.

Does anyone remember a series made way back in the 1960's called " The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" ? If the link works, you can hear the theme music, which might trigger your memory. Great series for kids and adults alike...wish they'd repeat it sometime !

Sorry that does'nt seem to work directly, but if you navigate through the site you will get to hear the theme tune eventually.

They should put House of Cards on TV again. I think it might have been on BBC4 recently, but would be worth putting on terrestrial again. Oddly enough, the subject matter never seems to go out of fashion! ;o)
Hi..i'd like to see "The Mary Whitehouse Experience " repeated again some day......Hmmm....Milky Milky!!!
Sometimes its best to remember the programmes as you think they were. There were some Goodies on one of the sky channels earlier this year, and they were awful, although they had been a must watch when they were on originally. If I ever see an old episode of Some mothers do ave em, I wonder now why they were so popular, they just seem silly.
Maybe I'm getting old........
I'd love to see Tenko again, I think I was just that bit young when it was on to appreciate it fully.
old 70s series called "thriller". very creepy at times.
Bust with Paul Nicholas and Big Deal with Ray Brookes
Mine would be - Our Friends in the North, Dear John , Drop the Dead Donkey , North Square, Bodyline and Band Of Brothers.
.....Widows , Survivors , Quatermass , Boys from the Blackstuff , ...............
